European Court of Auditors: EU maritime transport: “Much investment ineffective and unsustainable, with a high risk of waste”, say Auditors

A third of all investment in maritime facilities between 2000 and 2013 was wasted, such is the result of a scathing report of the European Court of Auditors, the EU’s finance watchdog.
